The Town of Tillsonburg is pleased to welcome the Ontario government’s multi-million dollar investment to boost local manufacturing. Through Ontario's Regional Development Program (RDP), Armtec Inc. will receive $3 million towards its new $27 million manufacturing facility in Tillsonburg.

Dot Foods, Inc., the largest food industry redistributor in North America plans to begin construction of a new $39 Million, 126,500-SQ-FT distribution center this spring near the 401 in Ingersoll. The facility is expected to open in 2023 and will create 200 jobs.

Unifor members at CAMI Assembly in Ingersoll, Ont. made it official Monday by ratifying an agreement to convert the plant to Canada's first electric vehicle manufacturer. A $1 billion investment from General Motors means work will begin immediately to ready the plant to begin van production in November and gives employees a 10-year promise of job security.

The Town of Tillsonburg is pleased to announce that Systemair has purchased a property located at 10 Rouse Street, adjacent to and directly east of their existing facility at 8 Rouse Street in Tillsonburg. This acquisition will enable Systemair to increase their vertical integration and bring additional jobs to Tillsonburg.

 The Town of Tillsonburg congratulates Titan Trailers Inc on their acquisition of the 1 Clearview Drive and 3500 Highway 3 properties in the Town of Tillsonburg. The purchase of the approximately 50 acre site with 270,000 square feet is in addition to a recent expansion at their Delhi location in Norfolk County.  

In the presence of Trevor Birtch, Mayor of the City of Woodstock, Mr. Richard Voyer, Executive Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer, unveiled the products to be manufactured at SOPREMA’s new plant in Woodstock, Ontario, and symbolically marked the beginning of construction works.

Ontario is partnering with SOPREMA Canada and Hino Motors Canada to drive economic growth, creating more than 60 new jobs and supporting 100 existing positions in southwestern Ontario. Samsonite is breaking ground on a new headquarters and warehouse facility in Stratford's east end. The 13,000 square metre (141,000 square foot) space is slated to open in spring 2018 and will employ between 50 and 60 people.

SOPREMA, a leading manufacturer of waterproofing, insulation, soundproofing and vegetated solutions for the roofing, building envelope and civil engineering sectors, has acquired 15 acres of vacant industrial land in Woodstock for a new 653,400 sq ft facility.

Two Tillsonburg-based manufacturers will benefit from up to $5.25 million in funding to adopt innovative technologies and increase productivity, which will help create up to 110 jobs for Canadians.

Stratford’s agri-business sector is about to get a big boost with the addition of an innovative, $20-million chick hatchery in Wright Business Park. Trillium Hatchery Inc., a consortium of Ontario farmers, will begin construction in the spring on the 65,000-square-foot facility.

Woodstock Ontario- Sargent Farms and Boire & Frères today announced a strategic partnership in a new chick hatchery business operating as Thames River Hatchery in Woodstock, Ontario. The new joint venture company is expected to begin operations in the third quarter of 2017.

General Motors of Canada President, Steve Carlisle, announced that GM will invest an additional C$560 million to prepare GM’s CAMI Assembly plant in Ingersoll, Ontario to be a manufacturing location of the next generation Chevrolet Equinox. Of the total investment, GM will invest $190 million directly at CAMI Assembly in manufacturing equipment and tools and $370 million in vendor tooling with suppliers in Canada.
