The City of Stratford has developed a new business park that is geared towards companies thriving in the digital economy. The zoning is flexible to allow for various types of land uses from manufacturing to large-scale office environments. There is abundant power with the imminent construction of a new transformer station and ubiquitous broadband connectivity is provided by a network of underground fibre optic cabling and a wireless MESH network. There is a shared storm water management facility in the business park so that each lot can be developed to its maximum potential. Instead of individual on-site storm water management systems, owners tie into the shared system which eliminates some development costs. Lot sizes range from one-half acre to 10 acres in size.
