Dot Foods Canada to Build Distribution Center in Ingersoll, ON

Dot Foods, Inc., the largest food industry redistributor in North America plans to begin construction of a new $39 Million, 126,500-SQ-FT distribution center this spring near the 401 in Ingersoll. The facility is expected to open in 2023 and will create 200 jobs.

Approval of $1B General Motors deal brings job security to Ingersoll, Ont. plant

Unifor members at CAMI Assembly in Ingersoll, Ont. made it official Monday by ratifying an agreement to convert the plant to Canada's first electric vehicle manufacturer. A $1 billion investment from General Motors means work will begin immediately to ready the plant to begin van production in November and gives employees a 10-year promise of job security.

This acquisition will enable Systemair to increase their vertical integration and bring additional jobs to Tillsonburg.
